    The Polar Oceans is hosted on a third-party LMS platform that features a “single-sign-on” option and easy onboarding onto your school’s educational platforms via API integrations.

    Our course is designed for all students to thrive. Choose from three age groups: 7-9, 10-13, and 14-19. Each level offers suitable content and interactive activities that spark curiosity and foster a love for learning.

Additionally, there are a variety of engaging and interactive activities designed to enhance students’ understanding of the complexities of the Polar Oceans and their ecosystems!

A chance for adventure!

Students who successfully complete the Polar Oceans final project while making a significant positive impact on their local communities will be eligible for the incredible opportunity to win the prestigious Polar Oceans Ambassador Scholarship!

This exciting scholarship includes an adventurous trip to either Antarctica or the Arctic aboard a state-of-the-art expedition vessel, traveling alongside a group of fellow students from Ocean Youth Academy. In addition to this fantastic journey, the scholarship also covers flights to and from the designated port of departure, along with various other enriching experiences! Our goal is to inspire and share the awe-inspiring magic of these remarkable Polar Oceans with the dedicated leaders of tomorrow, hailing from all corners of the globe.

  • OYA believes in fostering the next generation of young ambassadors for the polar regions and our planet. 

  • Students who complete the course will have the opportunity to earn a scholarship to visit these places first-hand on an OYA-sponsored expedition.

  • These scholarships, available to students aged 14–18, will be awarded to exceptional applicants following submission of the course's final project and an interview process.
